A bit of baggage, just in cases.

In just a few days, our luggage has exploded.

Well, we did arrive having packed light. And we did need to get a whole lot of things for the six-months on the road.

Things like V8 juice in bulk and vodka and Worcestershire sauce and tabasco and limes for the making of Bloody Marys. And glasses from which to drink them. Really important things.

And a a chiller bag and travelling mugs and throw rugs and extra pillows and discount rack warm jackets for the nights…

But here is our luggage arriving at the Sofitel in the depths of the night (I should have used a flash).

And here, just a few days later in the bright morning light, we depart with enthusiastic evidence of America's great consumer culture.
